In Geneva, the Reformation was officially adopted by the authorities on May 21, 1536, right inside Saint Peter’s Cathedral, turning the city into a nerve center of Protestantism thanks in large part to Guillaume Farel and John Calvin. These individuals and their actions left an indelible mark on history, transforming the world as the period from 1517 to 1536 became a spiritual, societal, and social turning point in Europe and beyond.

Half a millennium later, the Reformation continues.
